Willow has diabetes, diagnosed in October, 2009. He began Lantus insulin in December. He had lost the ability to jump up on furniture due to the neuropathy caused by the damage. Happily, he has regained much of the use of his back legs and has gone from a dose of insulin every 12 hours to every 36 to 48 hours. If YOU have diabetic cat, it is not as difficult to deal with as you might think. With the help of your VET YOU can SAVE your kitty.
